Scholastic Book Fair
Our August Book Fair was one of our most successful Books Fairs held at Antonine College since I first started organising them ten years ago. We made $3318 in sales which entitled us to a massive $1161 in commission. This commission enables us to buy engaging new resources for our campus library. The success of the fair must be due to the visit by our special guest, Geronimo Stilton. Geronimo Stilton, a talking mouse, is the title character of a series of books who lives in New Mouse City on Mouse Island. A best-selling author, Geronimo Stilton works as a journalist and editor for the fictional newspaper The Rodent's Gazette. Geronimo mixed with the students at the Book Fair as they were browsing through the shelves and buying their books. He also drew the winning entries of the Geronimo Stilton colouring competition. Congratulations to the following students who each received a $10 voucher to spend at the fair:-
