Visit by Mother Judith - Antonine Sisters Superior

Mother Judith, Superior of the Antonine Sisters visited Cedar Campus on Friday, 21 April. Part of her tour of the campus facilities included a visit to the library where she was most impressed to see the wide range of resources available for both students and staff. In particular she was interested to see the excellent ICT tools the students could use to assist their research and learning. In addition to two sets of iPads that the students can use to locate books in the library or to read interactive eBooks on, Cedar Campus library now has 16 new Windows based desktop computers as well as 14 laptops. This allows every student in a class to have 1:1 access to digital technologies during library classes. The computers and laptops can also be booked by classroom teachers through the SIMON student learning management system providing even greater flexibility and access for class based learning. For more photos of Mother Judith’s visit and other recent events hosted by Cedar Campus library please see the Events Gallery under the Home tab of the College Library website.
